To review or add your recommendations and/or criticism of service providers in the neighborhood, please consider visiting the Five Points Community Action Council's resource to add a referral of your own, click on the "Add Referral" near the top right of the page linked above, or visit directly.
This resource willl become increasingly valuable -- both to you, the merchants, small business owners and service providers --as you and your neighbors take a moment to add a review.

STAYING SAFE
There's much going on in our community.
Though we strive to prevent it, the Internet threatens to estrange us from the day-to-day greetings and updates neighbors ought share through the Camellias, over a grill, in harmony with a toddler's babble, or while scrubbing the skull of a friendly Beagle.
Let's at least help one another stay safe.
Consider visiting this good site for infomation on break-ins and other criminal actvity, or a searchable database courtesy of The News & Observer.
NEIGHBORHOOD LISTSERVES
You have the opportunity to join one or both of two e-mail distribution and discussion lists serving the Historic Glenwood Brooklyn Neighborhood Association.
One is for announcements only, which members of the Leadership Council will use infrequently to notify you of upcoming events and time-sensitive news.
There will also be a discussion forum with subscriber manageable delivery options
Members of the discussion forum are asked to consider carefully whether a post will be of value to the community since a discussion forum relies on engaged members.
The association's leadership encourages civil, neighborly discussion of items of general interest. Off-topic posts and angry outbursts are unwelcome.
Likewise, please refrain from:
- Echoing others unless you're also offering new information;
- Posting commercial messages, partisan political appeals; or
- Repeating information you've shared more than once or twice already.
