During construction, motorists can expect:

Periodic lane closings on Glenwood Avenue during first week of construction.

Lanes on the bridge will be reduced to a two-lane, two-way traffic pattern.

Pedestrian access will be maintained on the Glenwood Avenue bridge.

No parking on Glenwood Avenue from Jefferson Street to Harvey Street.

Periodically, Wade Avenue will be closed temporarily for nighttime work.

Sidewalks on Wade Avenue will be closed to pedestrians in order to perform overhead bridge work.

Traffic signals will be installed on Glenwood Avenue at Cole Street and on northbound Glenwood Avenue at the Wade Avenue exit.

Speed limit will be reduced to 25 m.p.h. on Glenwood Avenue for the duration of the project.

Lane closing restrictions:

Lanes on Glenwood Avenue will remain open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Sunday.

Lanes on Wade Avenue will remain open from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday.
